有兩種用法，第一種是做介詞，還有一種是副詞的。

　　一、作介詞時(shí)，along意為“沿著”：

　　1、Many trees were planted along the river-bank.沿著河岸種植了許多樹。

　　2、The Chinese people are pressing ahead along the socialist road.中國人民正沿著社會(huì)主義道路奮勇前進(jìn)。

　　3、There are trees all along the road.沿著這條路從頭到尾都有樹。

　　二、作副詞時(shí)along意為“向前”，常與動(dòng)詞或介詞with連用，構(gòu)成一些常用詞組。例如：

　　1、Let us walk along.讓我們向前步行。

　　2、she will send it back along with some other things.她將此物與其他東西一并送回。

　　3、The mechanization of agriculture will raise to the output, and, along with it, the living standard of the peasants.農(nóng)業(yè)機(jī)械化將提高產(chǎn)量，同時(shí)也將提高農(nóng)民的生活水平。

　　4、He gets along very well with us.他和我們相處很好。

　　5、How are you getting along?你好嗎？

　　6、How is she getting along with her work?她工作進(jìn)展如何？

　　7、I knew that all along.對那件事我一開始就知道。
