情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的用法有兩種：

　　1、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞+do（動(dòng)詞原形）；

　　2、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞+have done（動(dòng)詞完成時(shí)態(tài)）；

　　Should have done的用法：

　　1. a. It was an easy test and he should have passed, but he didn’t.

　　那個(gè)測(cè)試很容易,他本來(lái)應(yīng)該通過(guò)的,但卻沒(méi)有。

　　這里的should have passed是虛擬用法:本來(lái)預(yù)期他能通過(guò),但事實(shí)上沒(méi)有,即已經(jīng)知道結(jié)果或事實(shí)與預(yù)期不符。

　　Should have done的推測(cè)用法

　　我們可以用should來(lái)談?wù)擃A(yù)期的、意料的事情。此時(shí),should do是對(duì)現(xiàn)在或?qū)��?lái)的預(yù)期,而should have done是對(duì)過(guò)去事情的推測(cè)。請(qǐng)把上面的a句與下面的b句進(jìn)行比較。

　　1. b. It was an easy test and he should have passed, but I don’t know for sure.

　　那個(gè)測(cè)試很容易,他應(yīng)該通過(guò)了,但我也不確切知道結(jié)果。

　　這里是should have done的推測(cè)用法。它與虛擬用法的一個(gè)根本不同在于,推測(cè)是不知道確切的結(jié)果,而虛擬是已經(jīng)知道結(jié)果或事實(shí)與預(yù)期不符。

　　2. It should be a nice day tomorrow.

　　明天應(yīng)該是個(gè)好天氣。

　　3. Try phoning John; he should be home by now.

　　4. He should have arrived at his office by now. Let’s try ringing him.

　　他現(xiàn)在應(yīng)該已經(jīng)到辦公室了,咱們?cè)囍�給他打個(gè)電話。

　　5. The meeting should have finished by now.

　　會(huì)議現(xiàn)在應(yīng)該已經(jīng)結(jié)束了。

　　6. John shouldn’t have left work yet. I’ll call his office.
