swear的中文釋義及用法介紹

　　swear作為動(dòng)詞，含義為咒罵;詛咒;說(shuō)臟話;鄭重承諾;發(fā)誓要;表示決心要;賭咒發(fā)誓地說(shuō);肯定地說(shuō)。

　　1、當(dāng)作為及物動(dòng)詞時(shí)，后面可接名詞、代詞、動(dòng)詞不定式或that從句作賓語(yǔ),還可接以形容詞充當(dāng)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)的復(fù)合賓語(yǔ)。

　　例句：He swore revenge on the man who had killed his father.

　　他發(fā)誓要向那個(gè)殺死他父親的人報(bào)仇。

　　I swear (that) I'll never leave you.

　　2、當(dāng)作為不及物動(dòng)詞時(shí)，后面接介詞at，表示詛咒……。

　　例句：She fell over and swore loudly.

　　她摔倒了，大罵了一聲。

　　Why did you let him swear at you like that?

　　你怎么聽(tīng)任他那么罵你呢？

　　Shut up! How dare you swear at me like that!
