用法：

　　1、impress為及物動(dòng)詞,意為“使……明白重要性,留下了深刻的印象”。

　　The film impressed me deeply.

　　那部影片給我留下了深刻的印象.

　　His words impressed deeply on my memory.

　　他的話深深的印在我的腦海里.

　　2、其被動(dòng)式be impressed很常用,后可接with/by.

　　I was greatly impressed by/with the headmaster”s speech.

　　我被校長(zhǎng)的話深深的感動(dòng)了.

　　She was deeply impressed by/with the scenery in Guilin.

　　桂林的景色給她留下了深刻美好的印象.

　　3、表示”銘刻”。

　　impress on/upon sb. Sth.使某人牢記某事

　　impress on/upon sb.+that從句 使某人牢記某事

　　My father impressed on me the value of hard word.

　　我父親叫我牢記勤奮工作的價(jià)值.

　　Please impress what you see on your mind.

　　請(qǐng)把你見(jiàn)到的牢記在心.

　　4、impress 的名詞形式為impression

　　leave(make) an impression on sb. 給某人留下深刻印象

　　5、be impressed by (at, with)

　　被深深打動(dòng)(感動(dòng))

　　impress sth. in (on) one's memory

　　使...銘記在心

　　be favourably (unfavourably) impressed
